Fri – Sun, 8/21-8/23 – The Ethnic Enrichment Festival takes place all weekend in Swope Park.  It’s a wonderful chance to experience the cultures — and foods! — of more than 60 different countries.  HJETAA will have a booth to provide information about the JET program.  Please contact Michael Bugajski if you’re interested in volunteering at the HJETAA booth.

Thu- Sun, 9/24-9/27 – This year’s JETAA National Conference will be held in Detroit.  We’re looking for two volunteers (most likely the President and one other) to attend the conference on behalf of HJETAA.

Sat, 10/3 – Make sure you have this year’s KC Japan Festival marked on your calendar.  We’ll need volunteers for the HJETAA booth and also most likely be having our monthly meeting there.
